Proxie Care helps families who live away from home arrange care for their parents. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, your parents' city, the plan you're interested in, and anything you write about your parents.
- Care information (only once you become a client): your parents' health notes, medicines, visit reports, receipts and photos taken during visits.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and browser details to deliver and protect the site. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call or home assessment.
- To deliver care, send visit reports and keep you informed.
- To meet legal, safety and accounting duties.
We never sell your data, and we never use your parents' health information for marketing.
Who we share it with
- Our care team (care leads, nurses and companions) only as far as they need it to care for your parents.
- Service providers who run parts of our service for us: Web3Forms (delivers enquiry emails), Cloudflare (website hosting) and WhatsApp (if you choose to message us there).
- Doctors, hospitals or emergency services when your parent needs care, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become clients are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept while we care for your parents and afterwards only as long as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time. Message us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you live in the UK or EU you also have rights under the GDPR, and in India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Security
Access to care records is limited to the people who need it, and the site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
